Things PPS Can Do
Our Legal Document Preparers can legally prepare divorce forms for you, and they can tell you where those forms need to be filed. We can also tell you how to serve divorce forms to your spouse, and help you fill out state-specific forms for modifying child support or alimony.
Things PPS Can't Do
Our Legal Document Preparers can’t give you legal advice. They also can’t go to court and advocate for you the same way a divorce attorney will. If you are experiencing a fairly simple, uncontested divorce, you can save money by using a legal document preperation service like PPS instead of a divorce attorney.
If you know which forms you need and have already planned a course of action, we can help make sure you fill out those forms correctly. Legal documents can be confusing, and if they are missing information or not filled out appropriately, it will most certainly delay your case. Here at PPS, we'll help you fill out and file the following types of legal paperwork.
We are not attorneys. We cannot perform the legal services that an attorney performs. We cannot engage in the practice of law. The county clerk has not evaluated or approved my knowledge or experience, or the quality of our work. We cannot represent you in court. The information provided during all meetings does not, and is not intended to, constitute legal advice; instead, all information provided is for general informational purposes only.
